Data controller

The data controller is Individual Entrepreneur Valentin Limited, a sole proprietorship registered in Georgia under identification number 302377005, Georgia, Tbilisi city, Chugureti district, Ivane Javakhishvili street, N 26, area N16, represented by Valentin Le Normand. Data collected and how it is used

• Contact form. Name, email address, subject and message. The message is forwarded to the publisher as a Telegram notification so that he can reply to you. Your name and email address are added to the contact database shared by the publisher's websites, without subscribing you to any newsletter: you receive nothing you did not ask for.
• Newsletter. Email address. Subscription takes two steps: a confirmation email is sent to you, and your address is only added once you click its link, which is valid for 48 hours. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link.
• Audience measurement. Only if you accept it in the banner: PostHog measures the pages viewed and records how visits unfold (clicks, scrolling), with form inputs kept masked. Without your consent, no measurement tool is loaded. Your choice lasts six months and can be changed at any time with the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page; declining deletes PostHog's cookie and data from your browser.
• Form protection. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that forms are submitted by a human. Your IP address is also used to limit the number of submissions: only an irreversible fingerprint of it is stored, for 48 hours at most.

Legal bases

Replying to your messages and protecting the forms rely on the publisher's legitimate interest. The newsletter and audience measurement rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Retention period

Messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your request. Contact details left through the contact form are kept for 3 years after the last exchange. A newsletter address is kept until you unsubscribe.

Processors and transfers

Data is processed by the following providers: Vercel (website hosting, United States), Supabase (contact database, European Union), Resend (email delivery), Telegram (forwarding messages to the publisher), Cloudflare (form protection) and PostHog (audience measurement, United States, with your consent). Transfers outside the European Union are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your personal data and to object to its processing, as well as the right to withdraw your consent: through the unsubscribe link in every newsletter, and for audience measurement from the cookie policy. To exercise these rights, write to contact@novika.info. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
